Ultra-clear glass is also known as low iron glass. By reducing the iron content in the glass, the glass has a crystal texture visual. There is no greenish visual effect like ordinary clear glass, whether viewed from the front or the side.
What is ultra clear glass used for?
In foreign countries, ultra clear glass is mainly used in high-end buildings, high-end glass processing and solar photovoltaic curtain wall fields, as well as high-end glass furniture, decorative glass, imitation crystal products, lamp glass, precision electronic industries (copiers, scanners), special buildings, etc.
Characteristics of ultra-white tempered glass: (1) low self-explosion rate of glass: ultra-white glass raw materials usually contain a small amount of impurities such as NIS, so in the melting of raw materials, through the accurate control of raw materials, the purity of its composition than ordinary glass, impurities content is less, therefore, tempered after the possibility of explosion will be greatly reduced. (2) color consistency: because the iron content in raw materials is only one-tenth or lower than that of ordinary glass, it absorbs less visible light than ordinary glass, thus ensuring the color consistency of glass.
